Today, of all days, I didn't have my camera with me. Our friend who is the
manager of a buffalo ranch stopped by after lunch and took me with him to go
flying around the area in his small plane.
We flew around Marathon several times, then went over several of the area ranches.
This area sure looks different from the air.
This is really a monumental day. Not only did I get to do some wonderful
sightseeing, this is the first time I've been in an airplane of any type for
about 12 years. Oh well, this too shall pass.
The life and times of two wanderers who had settled in the small west Texas town of Marathon, now wandering (and wondering) again. Please be sure to sign our Guest Book at the bottom. Thanks.

W O W
It's been a while since I've posted anything. I have been doing things, just not writing about them.
In September, we went back east to see family, friends and for our daughter Karen's wedding. It was a good trip, and the wedding was great.
Once back home, we started a new project. What was to be another shed for storage, Pod 2. Pod 1, our original storage shed is now my work shop, so the stored stuff was in the way. As is usual with our projects, Pod 2 has now morphed into a laundry/storage shed. It's just about finished, then we're going to work towards finishing many started projects.
for now: Have A Very Merry New Year!!!
