Last week we had a short thunder storm. It didn't
bring the rain we need so badly, but the aftermath
did leave us with a wonderful sunset. It's nice to
just step out the front door and see scenes like these.

This photo shows the start of the bloom on the century plant across the
street. It seems to grow about a foot a day. There will be more
photos as this grows.

What great sunsets. You are in a wonderful area. I have a relative in Arizona that keeps me posted on the century plant that is about to bloom. Sorry it has to die afterward.

Oh my, These photo's are stunning! I could easily kick back out my front door and check out beauty such as this. The colors are breathtaking.Mother Nature sure knows how to show her stuff doesn't she?
